Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Bread |
These were a huge hit! |
Okay, so I knew that I was hosting our next group play date and wanted to do something different and fun for the kiddos. I decided on a goldfish theme thinking I would center the idea around Pepperidge Farm's Goldfish. Heck, what kid doesn't love those? So, anyway, started looking for ideas and then came across an article on the Pepperidge Farm website that they were introducing a Goldfish Shaped Bread!! Can you say super stinkin' cute!?!?! Well, my idea took off from there. The kids started out by painting tote bags using their hand prints to form a goldfish on the bag. I then had the hubby cut out some circles from a display board that we used for a goldfish toss game! My sister sewed the bean bags for me in the shape of. . . . (wait for it!) Goldfish!!! My kiddos helped stuff them with beans! Hee. Hee. Next was lunch and I served: Bubbles & Fins (blueberries & mandarin oranges), Jellyfish Sandwiches (PB&J), Fish Bowl Jello (Berry flavored Jello in cutesy plastic fish bowls), Sea Pops (Marshmallow Pops), School of Fish (cookies), Goldfish cuppies, (cupcakes) GET IT? CUPPIES? GUPPIES? and of course, I also served good ole' Goldfish! We also had Fish Water! The printables were done by Lauren McKinsey. If you haven't checked out her website, you should! Anyway, enjoy the pics!
